2007 Honda S2000
2007 Honda S2000 Overview
Honda decided to leave the 2007 S2000 alone, for the most part. The only changes it made to the option sheet were the removal of two colors, Sebring Silver Metallic and Suzuka Blue Metallic. In addition, Grand Prix White was available with a red leather interior in 2007. Honda decided that the 2007 S2000 competed well in the marketplace after making extensive revisions to the model in 2006. The 2007 S2000 remained one of the biggest performance bargains available, and allowed normal people to experience the thrills of high-performance driving at a reasonable price.

2002 Honda S2000
2002 Honda S2000 Overview
Honda only saw the need to make minor changes to its 2002 S2000. Probably the most important change was the replacement of the cheap and flimsy plastic rear window with one made of glass, with a built-in defroster. Honda heeded customers' and reviewers' complaints about the rear window fogging up and scratching easily, and replaced it with a slightly smaller glass unit which did not fog up or get scratched. The downsides of this change were slightly more weight and a slightly more restricted rearward view (due to the smaller window size).

2001 Honda S2000
2001 Honda S2000 Overview
In 2001, Honda continued to offer its awesome S2000 sports car in limited quantities to American enthusiasts. Having spent years tweaking and perfecting the car before release, Honda didn't need to make any major changes for 2001. What the 2001 S2000 did get were floor mats, a wind screen for more comfortable top-down motoring, and emergency trunk release, and a clock. Honda also began to offer a removable hardtop as a special order item, which required two people to remove and install. Honda also added a new color, Spa Yellow, to the order form. The only vehicle dynamics changes made by Honda were slightly different rear spring rates and dampers.

2000 Honda S2000
2000 Honda S2000 Overview
In the year 2000, Honda stirred up the automotive community by coming out with a new model. This wasn't an average, run-of-the-mill transportation appliance, either. It was the Honda S2000 roadster, a purpose-built, thinly-disguised race car for the street. With it's screaming 9000 rpm redline, ultra-stiff chassis, and superb handling, the 2000 S2000 was an extremely capable machine that could be had for little over $30,000.
